WAMP in New York Design Week

Extremely Hungary presents:
Soft Is The New Cool: Emerging Hungarian Design
May 16 – 19, 2009

Opening Party presented by I.D. Magazine
Saturday, May 16, 7 – 10 pm

Hungarian Cultural Center New York

Soft to the touch.
Soft to the eye.
Soft to the mind.

This season, Hungarian designers put their accent on New York Design Week. Audience was invited to experience the sensual approach of 17 emerging Hungarian designers and collectives as they showcased their newest products in animation, jewelry, fashion, textile, interior, and product design. All the objects in the exhibition were inspired by softness—of touch, shape, or concept. Selected items were for sale!
