WAMP at Design Week – Dialogue of Talents

In the middle of autumn WAMP moves back to its winter home Gödör Klub where you are welcome to join its special design7 edition. It is the fifth time so far between the 3rd and the 12th of October that Design Week has taken place in Budapest whose last day extension is amongst others the WAMP-Dialogue. The latter being the motto of the ten-day-long happening is also the basis of our programs: the roundtable talk with successful young designers for instance, as well as the design quiz wall, and last but not least our design book shop. You will also be able to meet some of the freshly graduated Hungarian designers who will be the highlights of the Sunday fair. The music is edited by DJ Sanyi this time.
The October WAMP is also the starting point of the Stílus-WAMP prize as a mutual initiation with Stílus Magazine to be given every other month to the best designer of the actual fair.

Music is provided by DJ Sanyi this time who despite her masculine name of Alex in English is a woman called Kinga Kovács, also known from the Hungarian Radio. Nowadays, amongst others, she is a DJ, researcher and translator, is a prof at the Faculty of Sociology and Communication at the University of Technology and hosts some of the literature programs of Tilos Radio.
Apart from the WAMP fair you are also welcome to see the exhibition of KREA (Contemporary Art Institute) with the title RE-DESIGN in the side gallery of the Gödör Klub.
