Designer of the month in June: Fehér Beatrix - Camou
You can feel the urban atmosphere as soon as you take a good look at Beatrix’s collection. Pictures of big cities, monuments appear on her extravagant clothes. She has thousands and thousands of photos that she has taken herself on her trips all around the world. She was there at the very first WAMP, the Museum of Applied Arts has bought five pieces for its own collection, her youngest customer is 5 years old, her oldest one is 80.

Designer of the month in March: Kauker Szilvia
Designer of the month in March – Kauker Szilvia. Every month since 2009, WAMP has been introducing designers who elevate the market hype to share more about a designer than just his or her products. Kauker Szilvi has reanimated and reconsidered an almost forgotten technique, and created her own barnd: MOZA. Her manufactory designs and produces cement and mosaic tiles in the most beautiful colours, with the most exciting patterns!

Designer of the month in February: Hitka Viktória Every month since 2009, WAMP has been introducing designers who elevate the market hype to share more about a designer than just his or her products. With her stunning and lovely snowballs and with her unique and cute dollhouses, Hitka Viktória is the Designer of the Month! Her works are compulsory for everyone with kids, and who love fairytales and romance!

Designer of the month in November: Bokor Gyöngyi
Every month since 2009, WAMP has been introducing designers who elevate the market hype to share more about a designer than just his or her products. To surprise, to make you think and to provoke – these are the most important aspects in Bokor Gyöngyi’s works. She is a compulsive designer who reconsiders each and every object, since she simply cannot accept the fact that one certain object has only one shape. The results of her exciting, playful reconsiderations are: the snap fastener-plate, the Velcro vase and the milk carton-ring. You can find all of them at the next WAMP in November!

Designer of the month in October: Artista
Every month since 2009, WAMP has been introducing designers who elevate the market hype to share more about a designer than just his or her products. Three years after the 1990 regime change in Hungary, Artista was already in full swing of becoming a well known, and now is a highly sought after design studio even beyond the Hungarian borders. The design group has been present week after week since the beginning of WAMP elevating the level of the market. As the Artista ladies show off their fall-winter collection this October.

Designer of the month in September: Gyöngyvér Gaál - Jeweler
Every month since 2009, WAMP has been introducing designers who elevate the fair hype to share more about a designer than just his or her products. A grass ring, snail ring, slide-framed, and heart-shaped necklace Gyöngyvér Gaál jewelry designer shows a little twist in all her designs. This designer of the month, September edition, was one of the very first people to attend WAMP and she has been back periodically ever since. Just recently the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts purchased items from Gyöngyvér to display in their permanent contemporary collection.

Designer of the month in August: Sándor Lakatos
Starting from 2009 WAMP introduces a designer every month who we consider unique or outstanding at the design fair. The aim is also to introduce the person behind the design objects. Sándor Lakatos showed up for the first time at the WAMP last October, after that, he left the country for a longer period. Now he’s back and as the designer of the month in August’s designer fair he is giving us some insight into his newest collection. About which he only mentioned the following: it’s going to be incredible! Note, the collection is only for men!

Designer of the month in July: PUcc
Starting from 2009 WAMP introduces a designer every month who we consider unique or outstanding at the design fair. The aim is also to introduce the person behind the design objects. In July, Pucc Sweetwear Design is being presented with the WAMP designer of the Month Award. This is a brand that produces clothes, accessories and lovely small figures, all in candy colors, made from viscous, cotton, elastic, striped, dotted or checkered materials.

Designer of the month in June: Balázs Antal
Starting from 2009 WAMP introduces a designer every month who we consider unique or outstanding at the design fair. In June, look out for porcelain designer Balázs Antal, recipient of the WAMP Designer of the Month Award. Last year he took part in the Finnish design exhibition, and since then he has regularly featured at WAMP. His masterpieces in porcelain design have been exhibited across three continents in New York, Japan and Germany.
