Spring is here, so WAMP is moving back to Erzsébet tér! This Sunday we will wait for everyone next to Gödör, who is looking for a nice. long design-walk!
Eco-section at WAMP! Recycle your bike! In April we dedicate a whole separate section to everything that is connected to redesign: you will find belts and necklaces made out of recycled bike tires, porcelain jewellery made out of old cups and plates – objects that are the results of a creative re-thinking of the old!
A lot more green-thoughts, a lot more spring and a lot more bicycle – bike designers, bikes and accessories in the spotlight! Be prepared for a sudden spring rain with a fancy raincoat designed especially for bikers, and put all your stuff into colourful bags that can be attached either to your wheel or to your luggage-rack.
At the BAD (Bicycle Art Design) workshop you’ll be able to make your own, unique jewellery out of bicycle parts!
Designer of the month
Fatér Mária designs her lamps in the spirit of redesigns as well, her brand, M-lamp is a collection of recycled lamps. Their body is made out of everything that is reusable: old pieces of porcelains, a Walt-Disney doll. Mária is a huge fun of the SuckRight accessories, she is sorry that one day is not 36 hours long.
Gastro
In spite of the fact that WAMP will be outside again, at Erzsébet tér, the gastro-orgy continues! In the shadows of the umbrellas you’ll find everything that your eyes and mouth could wish for.
Bike-gastro! Besides the creative designers, the young group of Kétkerétkem (my food on two wheels :) ) will stand up a stand with a lots of tasty bites!
Programs
Creative workshop for kids
Thanks to the Családiház, Szentendre group, all the kids will be able to have a lots of fun while their parents are taking a good look around the design fair. The smallest ones will learn about recycling, and make little things in the spirit of redesign!
Marie Claire stylist counselling
Cannot decide what to buy? Too many tempting things? Look for the Marie Claire stand and ask for the help of a proffessional stylist!
Matyó Design
Bautiful, tradional, hungarian motives yet in a really chick style! Matyó Design is the master of bringingh back the traditional motives into fashion! Look for the t-shirts embrioderd by old ladies with the experience of decades.
Lomography at WAMP! Welcome to the Lomography corner at WAMP, where you can try out the different analoge cameras! Play with them / with us and we'll make sure that you won't leave with an empty hand!
Mood responsibles
WAMP and AudioPornCentral joined forces and the APC DJ gang will spin live on Sunday. The DJ line is massive, Simon Iddol & mango, DJ Pozsi, Zenit Incompatible will spin the discs!
