Starting from 2009 WAMP introduces a designer every month who we consider unique or outstanding at the design market. The aim is also to introduce the person behind the design objects. Designer Dora Abodi primarily fashions pret-a-porter clothes; and she has been WAMP member since a year.
Brand
Dora Abodi is experimental and chic at the same time. Handcrafted details, new lines, fresh contemporary thinking, uncommon us of materials, luxury; these are the keywords of the brand. She fashions luxury pret-a-porter clothes. “I use many different kinds of materials; I do not bind myself for a given matter.”
Bio
She was born in Kolozsvár in an artist family, but they migrated into Győr when she went into elementary school. She has graduated at the French MODART International Art and Fashion Academy Budapest. Her influences are mixed; she is inspired by the French subtle and fine approach to fashion and extra feminine, elegant details, by Italian sense to lax and gripping attitude of luxury and beautiful leather works; by Hungarian craftsmanship, and by emotional Romanian attitude.
