One Xmas – two WAMPs

14th and 21st of December 2008
in Gödör Club from 10 am until 6 pm

Similarly to last year, WAMP appears twice in December under Gödör Club’s pretty ice-skateable pool both 14th and 21st December.

If you are in trouble finding Christmas presents for your beloved ones, and like unusual surprises don’t hesitate to visit the WAMP either on 14th or 21st December. More than 170 Hungarian designers and artists will be present to showcase their design products and deluge visitors with fashion, jewelry, ceramicware to glassware goods. There will also be a large selection of design books, if you are after the intellectual part of design.

If you come with kids, you can leave them at the creative corner while strolling, shopping and trying winter cocktails.

Dj Elliot from Tilos Radio will be playing for us on 14th, while Dj Nizar will be responsible for the atmosphere on 21st.

Arrive early as stocks are limited!!

Program:

14th december 2008 - DJ Elliot (Tilos Radio)
21st december 2008 - DJ Nizar (Tilos Radio)

Both days:

Design fair with participation of 170 Hungarian designers
Creative children’s corner
Design bookshop
Cocktailbar all the day

Moodmasters:

14th December: DJ Elliot aka Nándor Gerebecz is related to WAMP not only as a DJ but also as a designer: he designes vinyl watches with the brandname MárNemSoul.

21st december: DJ Nizar aka Árpád Bőczen stole some vinyl records from his father’s collection as a child and scrubbed the parquet with them. After this he was punished but continued this activity and some years later he started to collect vinyl discs. He joined the Tilos Radio, where he is the icon of the Austrian electronic music.

Stílus-WAMP prize:

The second Stílus-WAMP prize will awarded on 14th december for the best jewelry designer of the fair. The regular Stílus-WAMP prize gives designers opportunity to present themselves in the Stílus Magazine New Faces column as well as offering free stand at the WAMP. The last prize was given to the best freshly graduated glass-designer, Benjamin A. Balla in October.

The news of the month:
