wamp: the hungarian design market

October WAMP back to Erzsebet square in October.

October WAMP will be organised on the last day of the Designweek taking place between 8-14th October 2007. New talents are introduced not only on the market but also in the frame of a fashion show. DJ Sabda and young musicians concerts will make the atmosphere even more pleasant.

Programme:

Young talents corner all day. Vote for the best works! (votes will be collected on the WAMP stand)
4 pm - 5 pm Concerts of young musicians of Új Európa Foundation in Gödörklub
3 pm - 7 pm DJ Sabda
6.30 pm MOME fashion show
10 am - 2 pm Creative corner for children

The Designweek is the most important event in the design scene in Hungary. "Design: a new chance" is the motto of this year's event. The Design Terminal supports the presentation of 10 yound talented designers to be present together with the usual number of designers. There is also a fashion show oranised to show the new collection of 6 graduates at MOME.

The New Talents project of MOL has been supporting young talents under the age of 18 in the field of art, sport and sciences. The best musicians of this project will give a concert in Gödörklub.

Philips Fashion Island offers free stylist and make up services this Sunday. It is also possible to try the new Philips irons with new deepsteaming functions. If you buy a WAMP T-shirt on the venue we will iron you some Swarovski crystals of your choice.
