WAMP three times in August!

Those who regularly follow the news of the most popular Hungarian design fair should not be surprised that WAMP will be present at two locations in the last month of the summer, downtown at Erzsébet square and also at Sziget Festival. This year however you have one more extra chance to check out your favorite designers!

WAMP presenting Time drops - emerging Hungarian design at Helsinki Design Week

 

18 WAMP designers and collectives will exhibit their latest projects in futuristic visions in the fields of jewellery, fashion design, textile, graphic design, interior and product design on the Helsinki Design Week. WAMP has chosen to present design concepts that reflect the way Hungarian designers think about tomorrow, today.  These design works show to wear toys as jewels, how to dress in calligraphical codes of a city, how to fold yourself a lamp, let your pendrive become a precious fashion accessory and many other innovative concepts sealed in one time capsule of the highest concentrate. Taste the Time Drops of WAMP!


Time Drops of WAMP will be presented from 27th of August till 6th of October.

Balla, Blokk - Viktória Balogh, Bolt - Zita Majoros, Buidesign - Szilveszter Büi, doraabodi - Dóra Abodi, Feher - József Fehér, Noémi Gera, Barbara Katona, Kitchen Budapest, Laarka - Boglárka Csömör, FARM - Ligetfalvi Zsolt, Ákos Lipóczki, Zsuzsanna Magony, László Marosi, Anett Papp, Plümo - Farkas Pongrácz, PSPK Design - Balázs Püspök, Szofita.

After having shows in Vienna, Berlin, Bejing and New York, we are proud to bring the up and coming talents and the freshest roots of Hungarian design to Helsinki Design Week. Our aim was to offer a carefully selected extract of the most innovative design projects in the fields of fashion, jewellery, accessory and object design. We have the honour to present 18 Hungarian talents at the Helsinki Design Week in a special time capsule installation. Created today for the senses of tomorrow!
